October 29–30, 2025 | Encore Boston Harbor | Booth #10
The New England Section AWWA will host its inaugural Wave of the Future: Innovations in Water Technology and Sustainability conference at Encore Boston Harbor. This new annual event will bring together water industry leaders, innovators, and professionals from across the region to explore how technology and collaboration are shaping the future of sustainable water management.
Attendees will participate in sessions highlighting advances in water treatment, smart infrastructure, climate resilience, and utility modernization. As part of this year’s program, LandTech Consultants will share how 3D GIS and digital integration are transforming facility management for utilities.
LandTech Presentation: Laying the Digital Groundwork – 3D GIS and Integration for Smarter Utility Facilities
On October 30, Derek Lutchko, GIS Manager at LandTech Consultants, will join partners from Pennichuck to present Laying the Digital Groundwork: 3D GIS and Integration for Smarter Utility Facilities.
The session will explore how combining 3D GIS, laser scanning, and system integration can improve visibility, coordination, and decision-making across treatment and pumping facilities. The collaborative project demonstrates how utilities can build a scalable, long-term digital strategy—connecting spatial models with operational systems to create intuitive dashboards and web apps that support daily operations and planning.
Key takeaways will include:
-
How to approach adoption and data management
-
The organizational impact of digital transformation
-
Practical lessons for utilities beginning their 3D GIS journey
LandTech is proud to support NE-AWWA’s mission to advance innovation and sustainability in the water industry.
We look forward to connecting with fellow professionals and sharing how our work with Pennichuck and other utilities is helping to lay the foundation for smarter, more resilient infrastructure.
